On May 18-19, 2023, our partner BIO-MI showcased the UPLIFT project atthe LEAP (Learn, Engage, Act, Processes) Summit 2023. The LEAP Summit is an event with a mission to educate and inspire innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders in the framework of innovation and sustainability. It is a multidisciplinary conference that influenced more than 10.000 people from more than forty countries over the years.

There, Ivona Miketa, General Manager at Bio-Mi showcased the objectives, impacts, and methodology behind UPLIFT as well as their role in developing various recyclable eco-materials and granulates and converting them into food and non-food packaging applications.

This year, the LEAP Sumit took place in Zagreb and it was organised by the Croatian Office for Creativity and Innovation in collaboration with the European Commission. It was an outstanding opportunity to disseminate the UPLIFT project and its importance in upcycling Bio Plastics of food and drinks packaging.
